Brendan Healy (13 August 1956 – 18 February 2016) was an English entertainer, comedian, musician, and actor, known for his work in live performance, television, and music.
Born in North Shields, Northumberland, Healy began his career as a musician and became associated with the Newcastle-based band Lindisfarne, performing with the group during the 1980s. Alongside his musical work, he developed a successful career as a comedian, becoming a popular figure on the UK live circuit.
He gained wider recognition through television, appearing in programmes such as Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, where he played the character of Brendan, and through his own BBC series The Brendan Healy Show.
