Tom Carradine is a British pianist, musical director, performer, and proud champion of traditional music hall and variety entertainment. Born in Coventry, he originally studied Biochemistry at Imperial College London before following his passion for music and performance.
Since 2014, Tom has led Carradine’s Cockney Sing-a-long, a lively one-man show that celebrates the spirit of Old-Time music hall. It regularly plays to full houses at London's Wilton’s Music Hall and runs weekly at Mr Fogg’s Tavern in Covent Garden. During the pandemic, he brought the sing-a-long to audiences around the world through 65 consecutive online performances, building a dedicated international following.
Tom has worked as musical director and keyboard player on numerous theatre tours including Hi-de-Hi, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. He frequently collaborates with venues like Brick Lane Music Hall and the Players Theatre, helping to preserve and revive music hall traditions.
In January 2022, he received recognition from the British Music Hall Society for his dedication to keeping the spirit of music hall alive. He also regularly performs for residents at Brinsworth House, the Royal Hospital Chelsea, and at care homes across London and the South East, bringing joy and nostalgia through music.
In July 2025, Tom was honoured with membership in the Grand Order of Water Rats, the historic entertainment fraternity and charitable organisation. His invitation into the Order is a testament to his contribution to British entertainment and his commitment to using his talents for good.
Tom Carradine continues to delight audiences and uphold the traditions of music hall, while generously supporting causes close to the hearts of the entertainment community.
