BIOGRAPHY
Ron Regan is a British comedian and founding member of the long-running comedy act Nuts and Bolts. A true Cockney, born within the sound of the Bow Bells, Ron has always been proud of his London roots and his ability to bring working-class humour and quick wit to the stage.
He formed Nuts and Bolts in 1972 with Bob Flag, later joined by Antonio Traversi. Together they developed a lively mix of sketches, songs and variety entertainment that toured theatres, clubs and festivals throughout the UK, Europe and the United States. Ron became known not only as a performer but also as a driving force behind the scenes, contributing to writing, organisation and the distinctive style that kept the act fresh for decades.
With a career that has spanned more than half a century, Ron Regan remains a respected figure in British comedy, admired for his dedication to live performance and his role in keeping traditional variety entertainment alive for new audiences.
