RONALD REGAN

BIOGRAPHY

Ron Regan is a British comedian and founding member of the long-running comedy act Nuts and Bolts. A true Cockney, born within the sound of the Bow Bells, Ron has always been proud of his London roots and his ability to bring working class humour and quick wit to the stage.

He formed Nuts and Bolts in 1972 with Bob Flag, later joined by Antonio Traversi. Together they developed a lively mix of sketches, songs and variety entertainment that toured theatres, clubs and festivals throughout the UK, Europe and the United States. Ron became known not only as a performer but also as a driving force behind the scenes, contributing to writing, organisation and the distinctive style that kept the act fresh for decades.

With a career that has spanned more than half a century, Ron Regan remains a respected figure in British comedy, admired for his dedication to live performance and his role in keeping traditional variety entertainment alive for new audiences.
