

BIOGRAPHY
Early Life and Training Colin Spaull was born in Westminster, London. He began acting as a child, taking on roles like Pip in Great Expectations and Dickon in The Secret Garden. He trained at the Italia Conti Stage School (now Conti Academy) and later became the youngest member of the Old Vic company in 1967.
Screen, Stage and Voice Work Colin has had a long and varied television career, with appearances in series such as Z‑Cars, Dixon of Dock Green, The Bill (where he played seven different roles over the years), Inspector Morse, Casualty, Holby City, and The Inbetweeners.
He is well known to Doctor Who fans for his roles as Lilt in Revelation of the Daleks from the classic series and Mr Crane in Rise of the Cybermen and The Age of Steel in the revived series. He has also voiced characters in several Big Finish audio dramas, including Dalek Empire, Graceless and Eighth Doctor Adventures.
Theatre and Other Highlights Colin spent three years in the West End playing Noddy in Noddy in Toyland. His career has brought him alongside comedy legends such as Eric Sykes, with whom he played his son in a sketch, and Benny Hill. He also fondly recalls early career moments, like giving Liza Minnelli a lift on the back of his scooter during a film set.
