Chris Hare, better known as The Mind Boggler, is a highly experienced mind-reading magician, mentalist and memory expert. Combining remarkable feats of recall with humour, audience participation and showmanship, Chris has developed a distinctive act that has entertained audiences throughout the UK and around the world.
A member of The Magic Circle, Chris has appeared at hundreds of corporate events, weddings, private functions and special occasions. During his career, he has entertained royalty, rock stars and sporting champions, including Rod Stewart and former world light-heavyweight boxing champion John Conteh. He has also been presented to HRH The Princess Royal at St James’s Palace.
Chris has made several television appearances, with one appearance on Maltese television reportedly achieving the channel’s highest viewing figures. His extraordinary memory demonstrations have included memorising the birthdays of more than 300 cruise ship passengers and recalling the names of an entire studio audience of over 100 people.
He is the author of Sensational Memory, a practical guide to improving the memory using techniques tested during his own professional performances. Chris has also lectured extensively for magical societies, sharing his knowledge of memory, mentalism and original effects, including Birthday Detector, Where in the World? and Where Next?
With his warm personality, quick humour and ability to leave even the most sceptical audiences completely baffled, Chris has established The Mind Boggler as a respected and memorable speciality act.
