BIOGRAPHY
Andrew Galler was introduced to the world of show business from a very young age. His father, Steve Galler, is a professional musician and entertainer and has been a member of the Grand Order of Water Rats for over 25 years. Andrew regularly accompanied his father to performances and was up singing in front of audiences when he was still a toddler.
At 5 years old, Andrew began piano and music theory lessons. By the age of 10, he had achieved Grade 5 in both piano and music theory with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, as well as Grade 4 in clarinet.
At 12, Andrew moved with his family to the South West of France, to the Poitou-Charentes region, where he remained until the age of eighteen. During this time, he completed a Baccalauréat Littéraire, specialising in languages, music, and acting. He became a highly active and versatile performer, playing drums in a blues band, clarinet in a jazz ensemble, and guitar and vocals in an Irish music group. He was also a soloist in the school choir and formed his own rock band, writing original material and gaining recognition across the region. Alongside this, he studied theatre and classical singing at the Conservatoire d’Angoulême, appearing in various stage productions.
Andrew later moved to Paris to pursue a career in music. After nearly four years there, he returned to the UK and began working at sea as an Entertainment Host and vocalist. Through dedication and hard work, he progressed through the ranks to the role of Cruise Director, leading and overseeing entertainment programmes and performing shows on luxury cruise liners around the world.
In addition to his work at sea, Andrew has appeared in various productions and pantomimes in theatres across the UK and internationally. He is honoured to be following in his father’s footsteps as a member of the Grand Order of Water Rats.
