Doug was the Order's official photographer, known affectionately as "Paparrazi Rat".
His track record of photographing entertainment and Royal events was positively legendary, stretching over many years. He was very highly thought of and respected within the highest levels of society.
In later years, he turned his experiences into an entertaining show, taking the form of anecdotes illustrated by his work.
On a personal level, Doug McKenzie was a calm, pleasant, optimistic soul; a truly nice human being.
He leaves three children; John, Peter and Penny, and his wife, Kay.
